§ 11-86. Game and sport activity.

  • (1)

    No person shall engage in rough or potentially dangerous games or practice for same, such as football, baseball, softball, horseshoes, volleyball, tennis, badminton or any other games; practice or exercise involving thrown or otherwise propelled objects, balls, stones, arrows, javelins, shuttlecocks, model aircraft, skateboards or roller skates, except in such areas specifically designed and set aside for such recreational usage and subject to such reasonable rules and regulations as may be established and permitted by the director.

    (2)

    No person shall play or engage or participate in any game, sport or recreation activity upon property used, maintained or occupied by the city at any time when there is posted on such property in a reasonably conspicuous place and manner, an appropriately worded sign prohibiting any such game, sport or recreational activity.
