§ 24-56. Sign setback option.

  • Any freestanding sign permitted by this chapter which is the identification sign on premises shall be permitted closer than 10 feet of, but not placed upon or projecting over, any public right-of-way line, provided that the height of such sign structure does not exceed 7 feet. However, any freestanding sign located within the community redevelopment area, shall be permitted closer than 10 feet to, but not placed upon or projecting over, any public right-of-way, provided that the height of such sign structure does not exceed 5 feet.
