§ 2-329. Manager authorized to declare state of emergency.

The city manager shall be empowered to declare that a state of emergency exists within the boundaries of the city and to exercise the emergency powers conferred in F.S. §§ 870.041 through 870.047 inclusive, in the event of overt acts of violence or the imminent threat of such violence within the city.
